Holiday Gifts for Students

Each year I make these for my class as a little gift for each student. These are just regular children's blocks with a little bow hot glued to the top with a cord type hanger.  I try to find their initial for their block.  It is kind of a nice souvenir of Kindergarten.

         Long Underwear

       These were made using two pieces of felt. There is an extra flap in the back that lifts up.  You can put a little card in the flap or just use it as an ornament.  You could probably make them out of a single piece of red construction paper and glue the flap on the back.                                                                       

This is a little Christmas tree that is a 3D type decoration. It is difficult to see from the picture, but it stands up and the legs hang off a shelf.  Christmas candies are in the mouth!  I machine appliqué the child's name and the year on the bottom of the tree.
