Special recognition will be given to each child on his/her birthday. Each child will be given a special birthday hat to wear for the day.  He/She will be able to choose a special gift from the Birthday Box and we will all sing "Happy Birthday!"   If you would like to send a treat, it must be store bought and arrive in the sealed wrapper in which it was purchased. The district policy prohibits us from accepting any food prepared at home..  If you would like to bring treats to celebrate your child's birthday, please let us know a couple of days in advance.  We would like to avoid birthday celebrations on Wednesday since both classes will be in the room. 

If your child has a summer birthday, you may celebrate it any time during the year.   You might choose to have a 1/2 birthday celebration or wait until near the end of the school year.
